Work History:

  • AMDS with home national doctor service: from 17/7/2017 until 1/3/2018
  • AMDS with Aya medical after hour: 1/159 Priam street Chester Hill 4 days a week (24 hours weekly) from 1/9/2017 ongoing
  • AMDS with Greenacre medical after hours: 1/168 waterloo Road, Greenacre from 1/9/2017 ongoing one day per week( 6 hours weekly)
  • GP at Tristar Medical group: 90-100 Ovens Street , Wangaratta , Victoria,3677 On full time basis from 12/4/2016 – on going (50 hours per week).


Her duties include:

  • Provide high quality, primary health care services to the community, in keeping with best practice standards.
  • Provide appropriate care and services to patients of all age ranges and level of health care needs.
  • Respond to medical/ health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.
  • Provide management of long-term conditions in line with the Australian guidelines.
  • Prescribe for patients as appropriate to need.
  • Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative healthcare advice to all patients attending the practice.
  • Ordering diagnostic tests as required.
  • Referring patients to other providers as appropriate.


During this period I have seen all variety of medical health conditions in all medicine branches: Pediatric, Obstetric & Gynecology, Surgery, Medicine, etc.


I also has seen patients in all age groups from neonate to elderly people from different sex.

I commenced Observership on full time base with Dr Irfan Hakeem (my supervisor)


My duties were:

  • Observing Dr Hakeem while conducting consultations with the patients after asking the patients if they are happy for me to attend. Dr/Hakeem used to explain to me after he finishes with the patient if I need any clarification.
  • GP at Saint Mary Hospital: Nasr City , Cairo , Egypt On full time basis from 9/9/2015 until 15/10/2015

My duties were:

  • analyzing patients complaints , performing medical examination, asking for investigations and managing different cases: DM, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, asthma, etc.
  • providing emergency care and first aid management on emergency medical problems.
  • managing different pediatric , obstetric and gynecological cases.
  • referring cases that need specialist consultations.
  • Observership at Blacktown Family Surgery: 100 Main Street , Blacktown, NSW,2418 on Part time basis from 2/1/2015 until 1/9/2015 and from 20/10/2015 until 23/1/2016. (20 Hours per week)


My duties were:

  • Observing DR Lilyan Soliman while attending a consultation after asking the patient if they are happy for me to attend.
  • GP doctor at Dr Michel General Practice: 53 Shoubra Street , Cairo ,Egypt On a full time basis From 1/11/2007 to 1/10/2012 (48 hours a week)


My duties were:

  • Analysing patient complaints ,performing medical examination ,asking for investigations and managing different cases E.g.: DM ,hypertension, ischemic heart disease, chronic liver disease
  • providing emergency care and first line management on emergency medical problems
  • managing different paediatric cases like: chest infection, gastroenteritis, tonsillitis and asthema
  • providing pre marriage counselling and providing antenatal care
  • Resident Medical Officer: On full time basis at The Internal Medicine department in Ain Shams University Hospitals from 7/5/2003 to 6/11/2004


My responsibilities were:

  • assessment and management of patients admitted to the ward with different kinds of medical problems.
  • assessment and management of patients coming to outpatient clinic with different medical problems like chronic hypertension, D.M, chronic liver disease , chronic renal disease.
  • Doing some procedures like insertion of ryle tube, i.v cannulation, catheterization.
  • Attending and assisting in gastroscopies
  • assessment and management of different medical problems in emergency like strokes , oesophageal varices bleeding, bleeding form peptic ulcer, patients in coma, initiating the management and interpreting the investigations and if needed discussing further management with the appropriate specialist.
  • Internship: From 1/3/2000 to 28/2/2001

During this time I had been working at Ain Shams University Hospitals in the following departments:

  • general medicine for 2 months
  • general surgery for 2 months
  • paediatric for 2 moths
  • obestetric and Gynaecology for 2 months
  • intensive care unit and anaesthesia for 2 months
  • ophthalmology for 1 month
  • physiotherapy for 1 month


Gaps in Work/Practice History:

  • From 2/10/2012 until 1/1/2015
  • I came to Australia and I was settling in the new country and at the same time I did the following:
  • I passed the OET test again as I had an expired one and I have been studying for PESCI and The Clinical AMC test.
  • I did some CPD courses.
  • I had a course with RACGP for PESCI preparation.
  • I had a training course with Tristar Medical Group.
  • I had a preparation course for the AMC clinical with HEAL .
  • From 6/11/2004 to 1/11/2007:
  • I had been working on casual basis as I was studying for the AMC Test ,OET Test and doing some of my local studies
  • From28/2/2001 to 7/5/2003:
  • I was sick during my first pregnancy and then i was on maternity leave.


Current Activities:

  • I have been participating in QI CPD activities since 2014 attached my RACGP QI-CPD credit points statement.
  • I have been participating in a group study at the same time to prepare for Fellowship exam.
  • I am also joining the webinar training held by Tristar Medical Group twice a week to regularly update my knowledge and prepare for my Fellowship exam.
  • I am participating in an online course with GP Academy to help me with preparation for my fellowship exam.
  • I continuously attend meetings and education held by the drug representative Membership of professional organisation:
  • I am a member with RACGP. My RACGP number is : 618286
