Our Fee Policy

GP CONSULTS (FACE-TO-FACE)

for Medicare-Rebatable Consultations: 

The doctors at iCare Medical Centre Campsie have a mixed-billing fee policy.

All the doctors have indicated the following schedule as a guide (however please note that all billing is at each independent doctor’s discretion and may vary depending on the type and duration of the consultation);

Concessional Fees

Concession Fees are available for

• Children under 16yrs,
• Pensioners,
• Health Care Card  and DVA Card Holders

BULK-BILLING

Services eligible for bulk billing include:

• Medicare Card Holders
• Annual Health Assessments for >75-year-old
• Chronic Care Management Plans (GPMP) and Team Care Arrangements (TCA) (for eligible patients)
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Health Assessment (eligible once every 9 months)
• Health Assessments for 40 – 49-year-old (for eligible patients)
• Standard Consultations only for Pension/Heath Care Card holders
• Standard Consultations only for Children <15 years

PAYMENT METHOD

Please note that any applicable fees are payable to the doctor/allied health practitioner at the time of consultation.

Full consultation fee is payable first (Credit/Debit/Cash), then any applicable Medicare rebate can be processed immediately afterwards.

• E.g. Standard consultation (<20mins) for non-concession patient: $70.00 full fee, minus $41.20 Medicare rebate = $28.80 out-of-pocket gap

Medicare rebates can be processed on-the-spot (Medicare Easyclaim) to a physical Debit card (Savings/Cheque account).

If you do not possess a physical Debit Card, a receipt of payment will be provided for you to claim Medicare rebate yourself online, or by visiting a Medicare office in person.



OUT-OF-POCKET (GAP) FEES

Apply for all other consultations:

• Standard (non-concession minimum consult) patients: $28.80 gap fee for all consultations
• After-hours consultations Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm and Saturday 1pm to 4pm (Please note; Bulk-Billing does not apply)

Nurse appointments (e.g. Flu vax) are BULK-BILLED. Please call Reception for a Nurse appointment.

NON-MEDICARE GP CONSULTS:

• Patients without a valid Medicare Card (Private-Billing Fee apply)

PLEASE NOTE: Additional fees may apply for minor procedures (e.g. wound suturing, skin excisions etc.) Extra charge may apply approximately $50 for any surgical procedure and $200 for Iron Infusion.

Flu vaccines $20 for private patients.
